~ A Little ART on Tuesday ~ Mother's Day Piece

I enjoyed seeing your comments on the lovely cross. We liked it a lot when we first got it, but really feel more in love with as it settled into our home. It seems like it has been ours for years.
"Just Because"

I'm working on some art for Mother's Day. This one is a new favorite of mine. Vintage lace and a pretty old rhinestone pin on a vintage blue button, flowers painted by hubby and the cutest little baby! I spent way too much time on it, but I enjoyed it. This one is 5 x 7 inch wrapped gallery canvas like the last one.

  4. Another stunning collage! I love the colors, that blue is beautiful and I really like how you use the vintage lace on your pieces. Have you made a decision on whether you'll do etsy or ebay?

  6. Donna.I just love your collages! You've inspired me to try one for MOM on mother's day, of course it will be nothing as great as yours. Are you selling on Etsy yet?

  7. Donna, that is so beautiful! You do such inspiring work, and your talent and love of what you do shows. I love the combinations you are using in these pieces.

Thanks so much for your sweet note...I feel the same way. :) BTW, that photo in my previous post was taken at a local area home show. The homes in the show wasn't too "inspired" on the whole, but I thought that arrangement was neat. It was a fern surrounded by faux limes (or lemons?) in a wire planter. I laughed when I saw it after I posted...it kind of looks like an arrangement of tennis balls. By that time, I was too tired to care! ;)

I hope that you're having a good week.

While in Lourdes I did pray or those "who read my blog," for those whose prayers where in their hearts that I did not know, that they would be heard as I lite a candle by the grotto.
