I think we are at the end of all our company visiting. Most of our relatives live out of state so we don't have a lot of visitors anymore. But for the last couple of months we made up for it. There hasn't been much time for visiting my favorite blogs, so I have catching up to do!
The season of spring is quite short here. Sometimes after its fleeting appearance and we feel like it's summer already, we get a little reprieve when a little dash of coolness returns. I love those days and night. But this might be one of the last days that can I keep the door to the porch. Cody Puppy loves being able to just come in and out. He especially likes that wrought iron lounge chair out there.
I was looking for a little inspiration, and came across gardening pictures from years past. It was surprising to see them. Each year is a new beginning of a love affair with annuals in pots. I can't help myself.

Looking for some inspiration. Spring and summer colors are calling.
Sometimes inspiration is in your own backyard and front yard. Or maybe it was there last year or the year before. I certainly have nothing to look at right now. But I know how to get my hands dirty. Now to find a few extra hours each day.
See Y'all Soon!

*Stacey, a bath cabinet is the best place to start with a paint project. The antiqued white finish is really very easy. Just make sure you start with a good paint job to begin with when doing the white. The rest is easy!
Oh so very pretty...wow..your flowers are out already..how wonderful.

Adorable blog--great summery flower photos. I always used to container garden and am happy this year to be able to have a little more open space to have fun with!
ReplyDeleteHello Donna
ReplyDeleteI remember those photos! They are gorgeous!!
We finished the powder room redo, yesterday, just in time for mulching and prep, for summer! We're not doing as many annuals this year. We bought a couple of ferns and some red geraniums. Easy to throw in the car or truck to take to the lake. We seem to be spending more and more time there. That's why we decided to buy "portable" plants, this year.
Hi Donna,
ReplyDeleteDropping by to say happy Spring to you! Your flowers shots are gorgeous!
