~ How To Antique Glaze - A Perfectly Imperfect Frame with Annie Sloan Paris Grey Chalk Paint

If you had been there you would have most likely heard the shop people laughing as we walked out the door with the old frames. The sellers must have thought what a stroke of luck to find anyone who would actually pay money for that old junk.

~ Valentine's Day Mantel Decorated

This year the mantel is decorated for Valentine's Day with some of my art that I have used before, but this year I enlarged it to about 19 inch tall to fit in a frame that I just refinished. I took pictures of the frame before, and some step by step pictures to show you soon. It was an ugly worn out frame that most people might have put in the dumpster. Fortunately someone thought it was worthy of a place in a little antique - junk shop and there it waited I guess just for a person like me who looks for the old and unloved junk waiting for a new life. I love the way it turned out.

The frame was painted with Annie Sloan Chalk paint
